ABSTRACT
The article provides information on the political, economic, and business environment risks in Vietnam. The government was criticized by a U.S. human rights observer because of the arrests of an outspoken Catholic priest and two human rights lawyers. Foreign direct investment is expected to reach $20 billion in 2007 due to the projects of investors in the country. It states that the tariff changes on imported vehicles will create developments in the automotive market.
