The article presents information on the political, economic and business risks in Czech Republic. After a month of being in power, the Civic Democrat government was about to face a confidence vote that would probably fail. The 2010 euro adoption target of Czech Republic was abandoned after politicians from both main political parties expressed doubt over the feasibility of the convergence timetable. Local Development Minister Petr Gandalovic plans to spend European Union funds for improving roads and other infrastructure.
