ABSTRACT
The article forecasts the economic conditions in Slovakia for 2007. It stresses that the economy is set for continued expansion after the gross domestic product growth accelerated to 9.5% in 2006. Industrial product was up 17.5% with manufacturing up an impressive 24.6% in January. It predicts a continued strong economic growth of 7.8% in 2007 and 5.8% in 2008.
