ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs on the political and economic risks in Czech Republic as of March 2007. It was noted that it is unlikely that the Civic Democratic Party-led coalition government will be able to provide the necessary political impetus that the country has lacked. Revised 2006 macro-economic estimates have been released by the Czech finance ministry, showing an increased real gross domestic product (GDP) forecast for 2007.
