ABSTRACT
The article offers a look at the political, economic and business risks in Estonia. As part of its general election campaign, the Reform Party of Prime Minister Andrus Ansip plans to press ahead with tax cuts, increase spending on education and research and development, and continue to overhaul the country's business environment. Meanwhile, the country's unemployment rate has declined in the third quarter of 2006. Estonia has also been praised for implementing several business friendly reforms in 2005-2006.
