ABSTRACT
The article presents an economic outlook for Poland, as of December 2006. A low unemployment rate has been helped by the people who have left the country looking for work elsewhere in the European Union since its accession in 2004. Political instability has restrained the economic reform and basic parliamentary bill-passing process. The Polish budget, from 2007 onwards, remains a particular and the deficit looks likely to escalate.
