ABSTRACT
The article presents a discussion of the risk on the delay of elections. It reports that while the rescheduling of April's ceased parliamentary election for October 15 set a timetable for resolving Thailand's political impasse. The failure of the Senate to grant new election commissioners before the upper house went into recess means that the vote will have to be delayed.
