ABSTRACT
This section presents updates concerning the economy of Hungary as of September 2006. Hungary has until September 1 to present a revised convergence plan to the European Commission. Both economy and finance ministers have stated the country has no fixed target date for euro adoption. The country has announced that it plans to spend on renewable energy projects between 2007-2013.
