ABSTRACT
The article reports on the impressive resilience of Thai baht currency. Despite political uncertainty in several Asian states and its weakened external position, Thailand has maintained its export competitiveness. The export performance of Thailand remains strong and the rise in the Manufacturing Purchasers Index points to good Q206 GDP growth.
