ABSTRACT
The article reports on economic developments in Singapore. Singaporean Foreign Minister George Yeo has met with his Malaysian counterpart in order discuss about the Malaysia's proposals on bridge construction replacing Johor causeway. Singaporean dollar has maintained its modest appreciation as identified by the Monetary Authority of Singapore's monetary policy stance. Singapore ranks first in the Asian business environment rankings and is on par with the U.S. at the worldwide rankings table due to its low level of corruption and first class physical infrastructure.
