Country Report
This article presents information on country risk to investments in Cambodia. Six month after the July 2003 elections, Cambodia still has no government. The ruling Cambodian People's Party of Prime Master Hun Sen came first in the elections, but fell short of the two-thirds majority needed to rule alone. Cambodia has been given another six months to ratify its membership agreement to join the World Trade Organisation. The decision in effect extends the deadline from March 31, 2004 to September 30, 2004.
