ABSTRACT
This article presents information on economic indicators for several Asian countries. The estimated gross domestic product (GDP) growth for Indonesia for the year 2003 is 4.1%, while that for Thailand and Malaysia are 6.4% and 4.9% respectively. The forecasted GDP growth for Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand are 4.5%, 5.7% and 6.8%. The estimated inflation rate for Vietnam for 2003 is 3.2% y-o-y, while the forecasted value for 2004 and 2005 are 4.0% y-o-y and 5.0% y-o-y respectively. The estimated GDP growth rate for Vietnam for 2003 is 7.2%.
