Case Study
The acid erosion is the irreversible dissolution of the dental tissues due to a chemical process due to the action of acids, without the involvement of bacteria, and can occur in both dentitions. The consumption of acidic substances or reflux of gastric juice caused by self-induced vomiting, common in patients with bulimia, are responsible for the dental dissolution. This paper reports a case in which after being held the treatment of bulimia, were performed cosmetic bonding procedures for the patient's total oral rehabilitation.
