ABSTRACT
The article presents a case report of a 26 year old patient who developed rapidly progressive cognitive decline as a result of subacute sclerosing panencephalitis. On diagnosis measles antibodies were found to be present in both the serum and Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) with evidence of intrathecal synthesis which revealed the occurrence of a rare sequelae of prior measles infection, Subacute sclerosing panencephalitis.
