ABSTRACT
A case study of a 50-year-old woman is presented who was referred for polymorphic ventricular tachycardia after ziprasidone therapy for schizophrenia. Her echocardiography showed normal ventricular dimensions. She had intense, sustained laughter one day after hearing a joke by which she collapsed. She could not be revived. As her reports revealed, she had fine ventricular fibrillation followed by asystole.
