Case Study
The article describes the case of a Pomeranian bitch presenting with bilateral segmental aplasia of the uterine horns with unilateral pyometra and uterine horn torsion. A tentative diagnosis of either pyometra or hydrometra with uterine horn torsion was conducted. Following the discovery of bilateral, segmentally distended uterine horns, ovariohysterectomy was performed. A histopathological diagnosis of the bilateral segmental aplasia of the horns with torsion development was made.
