ABSTRACT
A case study on residents of Ontario, Canada, to check the association of levothyroxine with increased risk for fractures in patients greater than or equal to 70 years of age is presented. It is given that the users or patients were categorized by cumulative daily dose in the year before the index date. It is found that in older patients, current and recent use of levothyroxine was associated with increased risk for fractures.
