ABSTRACT
The article presents a case study of the Seminole County, Florida-based Yankee Lake project, the first to use the Saint Johns River Water Management District, which diversify the water resources in Florida. It states that an installment of two new 42 inch-high density polyethylene (HDPE) transmission pipelines is needed to draw water from the river. It adds that the new pipelines installed in the project's Phase 1 will provide up to 5.5 million gallons of water per day.
