Case Study
The article presents several case studies for physicians related to gastrointestinal tract diseases highlighting Clinical Pearls which is a teaching format for internists. These case studies include one on an Asian woman with fistulizing perianal Crohn disease, one on an obese man who underwent esophagogastroduodenoscopy, and one on a woman with abdominal pain. It mentions the 2001 American College of Physician's conference wherein the Clinical Pearls teaching format was introduced.
