ABSTRACT
The study aimed at revealing Teachers' democracy practices in the point of view of high school students in Jordan. The study society was formed from male and female students of high school (grade 11 & 12) at the Education Directorate of Al Salt Govemorate, for the second semester in the scholar year 2009 - 2010.The study sample was formed of (350) students, who were chosen randomly, a questionnaire has been developed out of 32 paragraphs, and suitable statistical methods were used to analyze information . The study's results showed in general that teachers practice democracy with students in medium degrees with mean (3.48) as considered by high schools students in Jordan . And it also showed that there are no statistical differences at the level of (a_>0.05) the extent of Democracy as practice by Secondary teachers from the point of view of the Jordanian Secondary students, due to gender variables. On the light of the study outcomes, the researcher have presented several recommendations to help those who set the educational policy in Jordan and the teachers in order to improve the working fields in the educational occupation and raising their capacity.
