ABSTRACT
The article presents a case study of a 58-year-old female who had a history of sinus bradycardia and persistent hypertension and was presented for a surgical repair of coarctation of the aorta. The patient was induced with general anesthesia with lidocaine, etomidate, and succinylcholine after the pre-oxygenation. The study describes the anesthetic consideration for hemodynamic changes, the maintenance of distal perfusion, and the prevention of complications on a coarctation repair.
