ABSTRACT
The article presents a case of a 50 year-old male patient presented for a right inguinal hernia repair. He was involved in a perioperative treatment of general anesthesia using a laryngeal mask airway (LMA) and was given intravenous (IV) doses of midazolam, cimetidine, and cefazolin. The patient was discharged the next day after the incision and was diagnosed an intraoperative anaphylactic reaction. The two important points in perioperative generalized anaphylaxis cases were also discussed.
