ABSTRACT
The article presents several case studies related to the abuse of cathinone, an amphetamine analogue that is biosynthesized in the leaves. The studies reveal that the intravenous injection methcathinone can result several mental-related disorders such as parkinson-life encephalopathy, paranoia, and auditory hallucinations. It indicates that the rapid air transport of cathinone leaves to several countries is the major concern of clinicians, public health officials, and law enforcement agencies.
