Case Study
The article presents a case study of a 60-year-old woman who went through computed tomography imaging of her chest due to an occurrence of hemoptysis. She had been given a course of intramuscular injections of sulfur colloidal gold for rheumatoid arthritis even though she had no history of receiving Thorotrast or amiodarone therapy. The findings reveal the consistency of deposition of gold particles in the reticuloendothelial system.
