ABSTRACT
The article presents a case study of a 62-year-old Caucasian female with rhinosinusitis and asthma before she was admitted for renal failure requiring dialysis. Laboratory has disclosed microcytic hypochromic anemia and elevation of erythrocyte sedimentation. The article discusses anti-glomerular basement membrane (GBM) antibodies which are sometimes detected in patients with sera containing antinuetrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA).
