ABSTRACT
A case report is presented which discusses tumour-to-tumour metastasis from a breast carcinoma to a pleomorphic adenoma of the parotid gland. The patient is a 78-year-old woman who had a right total mastectomy with lymphadenectomy the previous year as a treatment for lymph node metastases and poorly differentiated infiltrating ductal carcinoma. Two hypotheses on tumour-to-tumour metastasis pathophysiology are discussed.
