ABSTRACT
The article describes the case of an 18-month-old girl who has experienced bloody vaginal discharge for a month. Physical examination showed a Tanner stage 2 breast development, while laboratory findings indicated an elevated serum estradiol level and predominant pubertal leuteinizing hormone response to luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) stimulation test. A brief information on hypothalamic hamartomas is given.
