Case Study
The article presents a case study of a 17-year old boy who was brought to the clinic due to complaints of hip pain which has been going on for two weeks with a minimal response to nonsteroidal anit-inflammatory drugs. The patient, who previously worked in a construction which requires heavy labor, was diagnosed to have been suffering from the dissemination of Blastomyces dermatitidis infection. It discusses the nature of blastomycosis and its treatment depending on the disease presentation.
