Case Study
The article describes the case of a 35-year-old male patient suffering from Maffucci syndrome who was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma of the trachea. A tracheal lesion pedicled on the left anterolateral tracheal wall below the level of the cricoid was shown by the rigid bronchoscopy. It cites that the major modality of treatment for chondrosarcoma is surgical. Also emphasized is the importance of early diagnosis in preventing respiratory complications.
