ABSTRACT
The article presents a case study of a pediatric patient diagnosed with dental erosion by a dentist and referred to a registered dietitian (RD) for extraesophageal reflux disease (EERD). The patient has a history of coughing after lying down, sore throat and occasional stomachache. The article discusses the causes of dental erosion or tooth surface loss (TSL) and symptoms of EERD in children.
