ABSTRACT
The article presents the case study of a 35 year old woman who was admitted in the emergency department due to nausea, vomiting and bloated abdomen. Initial medical screening reported afebrile and passing flatus. Laparoscopy diagnosed an internal herniation of the small bowel in the broad ligament. The herniated bowel was first reduced and broad ligament was cut to prevent recurrence.
