Case Study
The article presents a case study of a 14-year-old girl with lumbar synovial sarcoma. The patient had no related medical history, however, she had unresolved lower back pain since November 2001 after being struck in lumbar region while playing soccer. She underwent surgery and started receiving radiation therapy and chemotherapy one month after the surgery. Five years and nine months after the surgery, the patient actively participates in both soccer and ice skating without any pain.
