ABSTRACT
The article describes the case of a premature female neonate who experienced heart arrest following administration of naloxone for reversal of morphine overdose. The neonate received respiratory support for hyaline membrane disease after delivery via caesarean section. Investigations showed agenesis of the corpus collosum but no other dysmorphic features were detected. She died after life support was withdrawn due to severe bronchopulmonary dysplasia and continued dependence of maximal respiratory support.
