ABSTRACT
The article presents a case study of a 13-year-old girl who had road traffic accident and was admitted to the emergency department with a Glasgow coma score (GCS) of 4. A computed tomography (CT) scan revealed infarctions in the posterior cerebral artery (PCA) and middle cerebral artery (MCA) in the patient. It explains the causes of infarction in PCA and MCA territory. It concludes that the development of infarction after epidural hematoma (EDH) may suggests a grave prognosis with high morbidity.
