ABSTRACT
The article presents a case study of a 70-year old man who has developed retinal pigment epithelial tear following intravitreal administration of ranibizumab for occult choroidal neovascularisation with pigment epithelial detachment due to age-related macular degeneration. Two months after receiving intravitreal ranibizumab, fundus examination revealed retinal pigment epithelial defect superior to the fovea. Ranibizumab was stopped but his condition did not progress.
