Case Study
The article presents a case study of Fanconi's anemia with retinal hemorrhage in a 12-year old boy. The boy was receiving regular blood and platelet transfusions. He had to be provided with bone marrow transplantation. It was reported that his hemoglobin rose to 7.3 g/dL on transfusion but platelet count remained very low. It is suggested that trauma, valsalva manoeuvre, hypertension and deteriorating blood indices could be understood as possible causes of a prerentinal hemorrhage.
