Until recently, storytelling was considered “unprofessional” in the corporate world. Today, storytelling is well-accepted in corporate America as a tool for sharing information in a compelling way that engages others. In fact, many large corporations actually have their own corporate story tellers. In Lead with a Story, author Paul Smith applies storytelling to the most difficult challenges leaders face. Smith groups these challenges into five distinct categories: Envision Success, Create an Environment for Winning, Energize the Team, Educate People, and Empower Others.
