ABSTRACT
A cheetah can accelerate very quickly and run very fast. The 16th century Mogul emperor Akbar kept 1,000 cheetahs for hunting. In the Kalahari Desert, cheetahs can survive for ten days without water by eating wild melons. Cheetahs avoid lions, which will kill them.
