ABSTRACT
Chapter 3 of the book "Alexander the Great" Book Four, is presented. It discusses the effect of war on the mind and body of military leader Alexander the Great. It recounts the journey of Alexander and his troops through the Median road from Opis to Ecbatana in late August 324 B.C. It also discusses the conflict between general Hephaistion and Eumenes of Kardia, Alexander's chief of staff, during the voyage.
