ABSTRACT
Chapter 4 of the book, "Julie Christie, The Biography" is presented. It relates how Julie Christie's desire to improve her acting craft led her to doing a six-month contract with the Birmingham Repertory Company acting in some plays such as "The Country Wife," "Thark," and "The Good Woman of Setzuan" where she discovered her limitations as an actress. It describes her experiences on a world tour, more specifically Eastern Europe with the Royal Shakespeare Company in "A Comedy of Errors" and where he falls in love for director Peter Tory.
