ABSTRACT
A chapter of the book "Dinosaurs Atlas: An Amazing Journey Through a Lost World" which features several animals that survived after the extinction of the dinosaurs is presented. It notes that after the mass extinction, some mammals survived and evolved into much wider variety of species including early primates like Plesiadapis. During the post-dinosaur, birds also evolved in many forms which include parrots which are among the most colourful of all animals. The author states that dolphins are the counterparts of the Jurassic Icthyosaurus.
