ABSTRACT
Information on the drainage of pancreatic pseudocyst into the stomach from a chapter of the book "Atlas of Gastrointestinal Surgery," Volume One, Second Edition, is presented. Either a bilateral subcostal or midline incision is appropriate for the cyst. The pseudocyst can be palpated and visualized displacing the stomach once the abdomen is entered. The edges of the pseudocyst and stomach are sutured together once good communication between the stomach and cyst cavity has been established.
