ABSTRACT
Information on hepatic arterial infusion (HAI) pump from a chapter of the book "Atlas of Gastrointestinal Surgery," Volume One, Second Edition, is presented. HAI pump may be implanted to deliver continuous-infusion regional chemotherapy for hepatic colorectal or unresectable liver-only metastases. The procedures for HAI pump are described.
