ABSTRACT
A section of the book "Under the Microscope," which offers information on tapeworms, is presented. Human beings get tapeworm bladderworms when they ingest a piece of meat where the worms reside. Humans usually have just one tapeworm at any time while other animals can have hundreds of short ones. There are about 3,000 types of tapeworm, with the smallest measuring 1 millimeter long and the longest at 24 meters.
