ABSTRACT
A chapter from the book "Amazing Horses" is presented. It focuses on the life of an Irish farm horse named Paddy, which became a Royal parade horse in London, England. Paddy is a milkman's horse working for Willie Wilson, a milkman who worked in Edinburgh, Scotland. After a brief and memorable encounter with a Royal parade, Paddy was purchased by the Royal cavalry due to its excellent temperament. Paddy was also trained by Corporal Barry McKie as a parade horse. Paddy was later named Cicero and worked for 10 years as a Royal drum horse.
