ABSTRACT
A chapter of the book "Stagecoach Inns of Texas," by Kathryn Turner Carter is presented. It offers information on the location, history and architecture of the Stagecoach Inn. The inn is located at Chappell Hill, Texas and was built by Mary Haller and her husband Jacob Haller. The architectural features of the inn include the ornamental Greek-key frieze worked into the cornice and the downspouts. In 1976, it was bought by architect Harvin Moore who restored the inn and operates it.
