ABSTRACT
The article offers a description of the Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (IGRP) from the book "Network Protocols Handbook," Fourth Edition. IGRP is defined as a routing protocol that functions within an autonomous system (AS) and one of the distance vector routing protocols, that compare routes through some measurement of distance. Multipath routing is also allowed with IGRP.
