Book Chapter
Chapter 6 of the book "Hematology in Practice" is presented. It defines megaloblastic anemia as a macrocytic anemia. The morphological characteristics of megaloblasts and normoblasts in the bone marrow are compared and contrasted. it also describes the ineffective hematopoiesis as it related to the megaloblastic process, as well as the clinical symptoms of a patient with megaloblastic anemia.
