ABSTRACT
Chapter 12 of the book "Annual Review of Nursing Education" is presented. It explores how the use of an educational technology tool like a course management system (CMS), can improve student learning and enhance teaching. Information on what motivated faculty to adopt a CMS, the relation of literature on CMS, and the innovative ways in which CMS is used in both the traditional and virtual classroom is included.
