ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's experiences of meeting social activist Mother Teresa on a hot day in the Indian city of Mumbai. The author had met her by chance and was touched by her simplicity. He met her when he was at the lowest phase of his life having lost many matches as a basketball player. Her advice to keep perseverance changed his life, as after this incident he worked harder and came to understand the meaning of it.
